Welcome to Pennsylvania!
The Genealogical
Society of Pennsylvania and the Western
Pennsylvania Genealogical Society are
pleased to invite you to the first statewide
Pennsylvania Genealogy Conference on the
29th and 30th of September 2006. The
Pennsylvania Genealogy Conference,
to be held at the Sheraton Station Square in
downtown Pittsburgh, offers family
historians the opportunity to expand their
knowledge of genealogical resources and
research methods through an array of
sessions given by some of the country's most
outstanding genealogical speakers. A variety
of topics will be covered in the
twenty-eight sessions scheduled over the two
days of this conference.
Millions of American
genealogists can trace their ancestors back
to the Keystone State. For them, the
Pennsylvania Genealogy Conference presents
the opportunity to explore a rich variety of
records covering 300 years of Pennsylvania
history in a special Pennsylvania research
track.
While in Pittsburgh,
you can also join your fellow genealogists
on a three-hour dinner cruise around
Pittsburgh's scenic rivers, or take
advantage of our many local research
repositories. The Pennsylvania Genealogy
Conference also provides the perfect
opportunity to discuss genealogy and
Pennsylvania ancestors with hundreds of
other genealogists with research experience
in the state. There are also plenty of
opportunities for those with heritage
outside of the Keystone State, including
several lectures on researching European
ancestors and advanced genealogy research
techniques.
Pennsylvania is the
Keystone to your Heritage and we hope you
can start and/or continue your search for
your heritage at this premiere genealogy conference.
We will be looking for YOU in Pittsburgh
this fall - and so will your ancestors!
